i miss fibi so much that i told my friends that i am treating the camp dog like fibi and i might wake up in the middle of the night to bath the dirty camp dog.. haiz..

Let's talk about Equality

this trip and the Tears of the Desert book got me thinking about equality this few days, the book because the fight for equality is the main message and the trip because i see alot of that in the people i work with in this trip.. and since i am on sentry for so long hours, i "meditate" alot on the topic



In Darfur, people fight for their basic human rights and it seems that those basic rights are not equal among different race and skin color. In Rwanda, same things happen and we in this fortunate country could only sigh and mourn about their fate, secretly thanking God that none of that happened in our happy little island. But look deeper and think harder, inequality is everywhere even here in the happy little island..



this work trip made me realize that in our based-on-justice-and-equality happy little island that is built on everyone's effort regardless-of-race-language-and-religon, some things are just masked and well packaged that we cannot even talk about it without risking getting sued.. constantly, we are seeing the wrong people being put into the wrong place just because they have the right links or the right piece of paper, or something even surname.. haha.. the more experienced people or more adequate workers are to remain in the same post because they do not carry the required piece of paper to suit the company's image in that certain position. high profile roles are given to future undergrads just because of the fact that they are going to be in a university in future.. people are not being allowed into more restricted places because they just happened to be the same skin color as the people who has a threat to us.. this is gross and i dont like it.. it is legalized inequality masked and candy-wrapped and it is obviously deception.



my friend tell me to suck thumb and flow with the trend but i am not going to do that.. if there is something i can do about it i will man.. aint gonna sit by and do nothing.. if Paul Rusesabagina did something in Rwanda, Halima Bashir did something in Darfur, then why not me.. but the thing is i gotta get influential first before people start listening to me. and the first step to being influential, i gotta get into a uni and get a degree.. what an irony and this sucks..

i need thr R&R badly..

everyday here is either shitwork(sai gang), gym, more sai gang, calling wai mai, even more sai gang, and even even more sai gang.. life without a purpose sucks.. i need a life here.. haha.. who goes on a overseas trip with free travel, accomodation and food and still complain so much.. i am such an ass.. haiz.. i need R&R badly.. my taiwan army friends are going to bring me shopping.. got one look super funny one.. look like Nono.. anybody got anything wanna buy just sms me la.. i will be free to reply most likely..

btw i continued my quest to be the King of Good Analogies and added to my wisdom by reading this book called Tears of the Desert. It is about the determination of a lady to survive and fight for her rights in the midst of a war and unfairness in society because of color and race. super good book again.. it is kind of ex but i nv regretted buying because it made me realize how good singapore is.. especially when i am reading it in a foreign land.. haha.. i miss singapore..

btw btw, i've been having weird dreams.. really weird.. like sometimes friends will just meet me on the street and smile like normal and the dream will always evolve into something unpleasant and i will wake up with a sour feeling.. happened like 3-4 times since i come to Taiwan already and i reckon that i miss singapore and the people too much..

2. jianwei and zhiyu and bernard(time to share those enlistment stories, and OCT JW sure got alot of stuff to share also one)


3. jocelin(long overdue meeting.. when issit going to happen????)


4. the whole E341 and N398(i am going to go back on a sunday so i tink i will be going CGM so this meeting shouldnt be a problem)

Welcome to Taiwan

i heard the captain saying welcome to taiwan with my half opened eyes at abot 0630 hrs and my nightmare begins.. the internet here is fast enough to allow me to blog all these..................................................before i gotta log out.. bye!!

bye bye all.. in few hours time i am off to Taiwan.. feeling excited and yet reluctant to go because after what happen i just feel that i should stay back and help out.. but nvm.. the trip is already set so people in singapore, pls take care..

i finished reading the Five People You Meet in Heaven and i am so amazed by how good Mitch Albom is.. so i cant control myself and went to buy For One More Day! haha.. here it is:
